A report from the FBLA Fall District Meeting

FBLA

The Schoharie Chapter of FBLA attended the annual Fall District Meeting at Bryant & Stratton College on Oct. 28.

Chapter Reporter Hailey Schwartzmier has filed the following report:

"A total of 170 students attended from 10 schools in District 4. Students had the choice of attending three out of 11 different workshops. The workshops included FBLA trivia, Effective Communication, Getting The Job, and many more.

Keynote speaker Karen Spinelli introduced this year's state charity for St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center, with a presentation to open up the meeting. It was a fun and productive day for all involved. Schoharie FBLA looks forward to the remainder of the year."

Schoharie Chapter FBLA 2016-17 Officers include:

President: Renee Stalker

Vice President: Jackson Vanderwerken

Secretary: Madeline Phelan

Treasurer: Jack O’Leary

Reporter: Hailey Schwartzmier

Historians: Hannah Madison, Denise Woodman, Holly Yauchler

Parliamentarian: Matt Faas
