To Achieve is to Believe: Students, athletes, teams and communities can "Make That Change!"

With a mission to "impact lives and make a difference," guest speaker William Harris will make a special presentation at Schoharie High School at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 27 titled "To Achieve is to Believe. Students, Athletes, Teams and Communities: Make That Change!" Harris's talk, which will be part of the school's Meet the Coaches Night, is free and open to the public.

"William Harris is a well-known motivational speaker who has brought his positive message to schools and colleges throughout the Northeast," said SCS Athletic Coordinator and Assistant Principal Robert Kraemer. "He focuses on education, character and athletics, including the team experience, as tools for making a better person."

"William Harris gives motivational presentations about sports, school and life in general," said Schoharie Superintendent David Blanchard. "He stresses not only that education is the foundation of future success, but also talks about the importance of what he calls 'the five Ps of life: proper preparation prevents poor performance'.

"We are excited to have William Harris visit our school on Oct. 27 and encourage the community to join us for his presentation."
