Boys varsity soccer team wins Kyle Sharpe Memorial Tournament for 2nd year straight

The varsity boys soccer team defeated Coxsackie-Athens on Oct. 1 in a sudden death shoot-out to win the Kyle Sharp Memorial Tournament for the second year. Goalie Jacob Fagnani was named Most Valuable Player, with 14 saved shots for Schoharie.

The varsity girls soccer team lost in a hard-fought game to Lake George. Addie Cornell was named Most Valuable Player.

Congratulations to both teams from the All Sports Booster Club.

Celebrating Homecoming

The third annual Homecoming Parade was held Sept. 29 in the Village of Schoharie. Harold and Ruth Ann Conklin were named Homecoming King and Queen. A huge thank you to Dale All for driving our royalty in his convertible.

Chris Tague served as Grand Marshall, and Boy Scout Troop #4 served once again as Color Guard. The All Sports Booster Club would like to extend their thanks to all who contributed in any way to make this event a success. Special thanks to Sheriff Desmond for the loan of the lights for the bonfire and to Patrolman Robert Coons for his assistance in organizing patrols along with the Sheriff's Department.

We look forward to making this an annual event. Any groups who would like to participate in the parade next year should please contact Barbara Sharpe at bsharpe2@nycap.rr.com.

All are welcome at Booster Club Meetings

All are welcome to attend All Sports Booster Club meetings, which are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the high school reading room.

Bottle deposits help sports and keep our fields cleanerlogo

The All Sports Booster Club is continuing their contract with Schoharie ARC for refundable bottles. All proceeds from refundable bottles taken to the ARC, which is located on Route 30, between Schoharie and Middleburgh, will be donated to the All Sports Booster Club.

It is easy - just let the attendant on duty know that you would like the proceeds donated to the All Sports Club. There is also a container at the concession stand in which you can place your bottles after games. This serves two purposes - the fields are kept cleaner and the All Sports Booster Club receives the profits. Please contribute your returnables and help us save sports at SCS.

Get involved: All are welcome!
